All of the techniques I have seen from your method appear very effective. Does your technique have any methods to defeat multiple opponents grabbing you as in aikido ( I don't remember the Japanese term for it atm ) ? This is a major fear of mine.

jujitsu is one of the most fluent and free flowing martial arts if practiced correctly. i train in ju-jitsu and i find it very relevent for self defense in todays world as it encompasses many of the more well known martial arts .e karate, aikido, judo.

Ju jitsu seems so bulky, staggered, sloppy. Although it does seem to work very well in modern day. Also it looks like it can be really painful for the attacker trying to engage the Ju Jitsu defender. Overall its decieving, but in reality it works.

@allyismycopilot It's also not a true wristlock, not like many other in Jujutsu... it's pain compliance. Generally this would be used to transition to something else, another principle, something more immobilizing. It's very painful..

I practice many of the same techniques... however we seem to do it with a lot less pain, lol. Poor uki is tapping 20 times before you let up on him.

Good looking technique, but I wish the attacker would have attacked at a better speed and more forcefully for a more realistic exchange. All in all though, it's worth watching.

Where is the pressure applied exactly when you have his arm pinned in your groin? Is it his wrist or his shoulder?

Interesting hakko ryu techniques, we do alot of the same but from standing. Your uki must be pretty pain tolerant!

I'm just only beginner but in this distance it force me keep my back straight (which is very basic of working technique), its harder to keep focus on uke (which is ofc very important) and every failure in technique either backfires (makes me unstable/vulnerable to attack) or make the technique to not work no matter how much I try to compensate error with power (which is ofc bad idea in any case :) ). Of course there may be more sofisticated reasons to it, this is just how it comes to me :)
